A single master, WYSIWYG.
LumaDeck Pro composes one image per frame — video, shaders, images and text are all sources into the same master. There's no parallel render and no second composition: preview and audience output are fed by the same master.
Video-first by design: live media is the priority, shaders are just more sources. Switching a clip is immediate — no cold start, no black frame.
Video mapping, inside the master.
The mapping isn't a separate app you bolt on: the surface (4-corner warp + Bézier mask) is a stage of the single master itself. You shape your video onto the booth, the facade or the stage, and it stays exactly in sync with everything else — same engine, same file.
Because the mapping lives inside the master, you don't depend on external video-routing between machines. That's the advantage: your show is one instrument, not a patchwork.
Reads the music, doesn't guess it.
A real-time audio engine splits the spectrum into 5 perceptual bands (bass to treble) with normalized energy and an adaptive beat detector. Tempo is estimated by autocorrelation of the energy envelope (60–200 BPM, resolves the octave, confidence 0..1) — it won't invent a tempo when there's no clear pulse.
When a clock, Link or timecode source is connected, tempo can arrive as data and become the chosen authority. The operator can always return to audio analysis or TAP.

LumaDeck Pro connects tempo, transport, lighting and video through Ableton Link, MIDI clock, MTC and LTC/SMPTE, Art-Net and sACN E1.31, OSC, DMX / Art-Net out and NDI® out. Ableton Link shares tempo, phase and transport across the network.

LumaDeck Pro builds the surfaces for you with the true proportions of the venue, and each screen plays its own live feed — the real signal on its way out, not a placeholder texture. Undock the view to a second monitor and keep the booth clean.

Built in three clean layers — a pure logic core, a WebGL2 compositor, and the booth interface — packaged as a desktop app for Linux and Windows. The license is Ed25519, verified offline: it works without internet, and your shows are files on your disk, not hostage to a cloud.
